About SAM School

Location
Our central location is within walking distance of Fountain Park Pool, the Arden Theatre, and the Public Library. Fowler Track & Field Park and Braeside Skating Rink border SAM School’s property, providing an excellent complement for extra-curricular outdoor activities for all seasons.

Library
SAM has a bright and spacious library, filled with over 10 000 books.  Students are able to find a comfortable location for free reading, access resources for research, or enjoy a special presentation.

Climbing Wall
The climbing wall is part of both the physical education program, as well as an extra curricular activity.

Playground
Students enjoy a large playground, complete with playground equipment, ball courts, and soccer field.

Daycare
SAM’s Out of School Program serves children in grades one through six.  Care is provided both before and after school, and on non-school days.  For information, please phone 459-5380.  Other day care facilities and day homes are available within our SAM community.  Please contact SAM School or check our parent information station for more information.

Nut Free School
At SAM School, we have several students who have severe allergies.  We respectfully request that no nuts, including peanuts, sesame seeds, nor peanut products (i.e. peanut butter) be brought to school.
